Originating from the widely praised ATH-M50x, the ATH-M50xSTS StreamSet incorporates the same 45 mm large-aperture drivers, now with the added feature of two distinct sets of interchangeable earpads – the M50x earpads, focusing on audio quality and sound isolation, and the mesh and leatherette ones, highlighting breathability and comfort. Enjoy superior articulation and intelligibility brought by the StreamSet’s cardioid condenser microphone, derived from the revered 20 Series studio mics. Positioned at the end of a flexible boom arm, the microphone stays close to your mouth, effectively filtering out background noise and ensuring crystal-clear audio. For convenient and swift muting, simply flip the boom arm upwards.
The StreamSet comes in two different setups. The ATH-M50xSTS model includes a 2 m (6.6′) permanently attached cable with a 3.5 mm (1/8″) headphone input and XLR microphone output for easy connection to an audio interface or mixer. A 6.3 mm (1/4″) snap-on adapter is also provided for the headphone plug.
