Successor to the popular Model 394 series; which was discontinued due to the discontinuation of some parts by their manufacturers, the Model 485 will see its design updated to include a 4.4mm balanced output, which has become the standard in recent years.
The XLR inputs are balanced to +4dBm/-10dBm standards, while the RCA inputs are unbalanced to -10dBm standards.
Output switch included to cater for normal-efficiency headphones at “Low”, and switchable to “Hi” for low-efficiency headphones such as planars.
Utilizes custom-made conductive plastic faders made by Tokyo KO-ON Denpa used in high-end professional mixers.
